ESTIMATOR

The Estimator compiles estimates of cost on weld and assembly systems, special parts or products as a basis for pricing purposes. Must have engineering knowledge and be able to interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, layouts, and other data. Requires extensive knowledge of designs, manufacturing processes and procedures with direct experience in welding systems, automation and/or robotic equipment.

MECHANICAL DESIGN CHECKER

Evaluates engineering models and drawings for completeness of design, adherence to all documentation requirements, proper dimensioning techniques, fit checks, and tolerance analyses to ensure items can be fabricated and assembled as designed.

Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the mechanical engineering field as it relates to assembly systems.
